Leonie
instruments:violin, keyboards, shakers, and vocals
Nationality: Austrailian
Leonie wrote 69Across' first songs and kept us all on track as we began to wander.
One
of the founding members, Loney left 69A to go get
married, of all things. With plans for total tea
domination in Australia, she and partner Rob are still
rocking on, making Ramones'esque sounds and
electronica in their spare time. Rock on, rocker!!
It need not be said HOw MUCH 'the chicks' have missed her. But our lives change and there really are things in life better than chocolate! Like, BABIES!!!

hiyas
a few snaps of our new place. Looking up the front
stairs, our place is on the right. The living room is
the room you can see from the stairs, with a small
balcony area. The view from the living room shows the
hills and jungle area to the right, and below is the
buddhist temple (you can't see that in the photo).
And that's our japanese style tub in the bathroom.
And Cuy sitting on his new pillow from Grandma Rosene,
lapping up the afternoon sun. Right now he's sleeping
on it quite peacefully.
We're working on putting a few more homely touches in
place - hopefully our new tatami will arrive on Monday
and they will cover the floor area in the living room,
making it a little less hard for small heads.
Our bedroom is about the same size again as the living
room but we haven't done much in there yet at all.
hope this finds everyone well - thanks for all the
emails. We are slowly adjusting to life here, or
rather I am. Rob is in, boots and all and doing
great, as is Cuy.
love to all and of course, more soon.
Leonie

Cuyler Sanderson Adams

26 August 2004, a Virgo in the Year of the
Monkey. Weight 3.1 kg (6lb 130z)

Cuyler loves to
be cuddled all day and I just find it so hard to
refuse him!!!
Honestly, I don't know where the time goes but I am
plugging away and hope to talk to you all individually
soon!
in the meantime rob and I are preparing ourselves for
leaving Oz at the end of Feb and heading to Taipei.
Yes we are finally on our way back. I will be
finishing my masters from there (should be fun) and
giving up my job here (obviously). So if anyone hears
of any super nice places that will be available for
rent in Feb 2005 in/around/near Taipei, please keep us
in mind.
In the meantime, love to you all. We're thinking of
you.
Leonie, Rob and Cuyler

~~Jan28,
2003 well I have just completed my first day of full time
work in Australia since november 1998....wow not bad
huh? and even back then I was working part time.
No such luck this time - it is full time, 9 to 5 all
week, 5 days a week, monday to friday. but the work
is interesting AND it's with the state government AND
it pays really well. At least for the time being, it
bein a temporary position for the moment.
So I guess this means we can stay in Oz and won't be
returning to the 'Chung for more kindy time (we miss
you Frobel). But, yes you lucky Taiwaners, Rob is
coming for Spring Scream, 3,4,5,6 of April!!!! hold on
to those goat horns!!!
12/20/02~~We are plugging away here
in Oz and it is a pretty
kooky place, let me tell you! The desert trip was
unforgettable. Eating kangaroo rissoles (a small
minced meat patty basically, and Rob did the eating,
not me!), battling with huge winds and sandstorms,
selling green tea to the greenies.
