2004 was a great year I had some wonderful work teaching drama and art within a unit of a state school in which we had a large percentage of refugee children mainly sudanese and iraqi and iranian. Very interesting crazy and fullfilling work.
I met and got together with Geoff who is a wonderful, sstimulating, lovin guy, has three great kidz It has vbeen fantastic to be a part of the Brisbane community again, catching up with old friends and renewing and enlivening old friendshoips and new. Its been great being a part of the enlarging sanderson adams family and cuy cuy is absolutely adorable.
Just got back from a week camping over on stradbroke island which was great boogie boarding walking and eating and drinking all the essentils of a great trip not to mention no rain
I currently live in a communal flat situation not far from the centre of town 10 mins on the train, it was a set of four flats that a group of 4 folks bought then built in a large cantilevered deck underneath where there use to be parking for 4 cars this is open to the air two sides and a communal space with tables sofas and a ping pong table along eith a dart board sporting the face of our non illustrious prime minister John Howard.blah
there is acommunal flat which has a spare bedroom for guersts and acommunal kitchen
we have chooks fire circle and tha kitchen devoted to brewing of beer apple cider and ginger beer
the folks and kids here are great quirky people and we get on real well.
I am happy to not in a tent anymore which i did for 8 months, in feb geoff and I and kids will move into leonie and robs old house next door to our lovely friend tanea

September 11, 2003~~

I think i will be working in a couple of different schools next year one as an art teacher 1 day a week, the other as a drama teacher in an environmental education centre which conducts programs which children come to the centre for using drama as a base.

i am still in the tent, but may try to find hard wall accomodation where i can hang things and spread out more, but i still wanna be in the same hood.
